Hello everyone,
I'm new in Activiti, and i have a question about functionallity of activiti-rest:
I have deployed the activiti-explorer and activiti-rest in the aplication server Tomcat 7.0.42, but, I dont know how to use the activiti-rest. I used the activiti-explorer and I observed the messages of the console of the Tomcat and I see REST messages how this:
Jul 22, 2013 12:08:21 PM org.restlet.engine.log.LogFilter afterHandle
INFO: 2013-07-22 12:08:21 127.0.0.1 - 127.0.0.1 8080 GET /activiti-explorer/service/editor id=101 200 - 0 113 http://localhost:8080 Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:22.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/22.0 http://localhost:8080/activiti-explorer/
But, this is part of activiti-explorer, and not of the activiti-rest, then, ¿What is the objetive of the activiti-rest? ¿How to use the activiti-rest?
My enviroment of work is:
Java JDK 6u45
Apache Tomcat 7.0.42
Activiti 5.12
Database H2 Generic (Server)
Thanks for replys.

activiti-rest is not used by explorer. activiti-rest is a way to communicate with the engine through REST rather than to Java

Hi there,
I am not able to login to activiti rest console on browser, please could you tell how can I login to rest web console? I always get 404 when try to login with kermit/kermit or any other default users.
Thanks,
Prao
