I was able to add a property of a given aspect without adding the aspect to the document. This seems to work using the web service api and the foundation api.
Is this the expected behavior or a bug (using Alfresco 2.0). I was under the impression, that i have to add first the aspect before the property could be set (the web client behaves also this way).
Hi, The aspect mandates the properties and not the other way around. This might vary from client to client, but the repository won't prevent the property from going in first, either in the same transaction or in a later transaction. Regards
