Process instance visualisation broken in 5.16.1 ?

We upgraded activiti from 5.13 to 5.16.1. The process instance visualisation seems broken in Manage > Administration > Running process instances. It still works for Completed process instances.

We encounter a NPE in the explorer UI. Details here: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/ACT-2095

Any users encounter the same problem?
