Process diagram generator changes

I would like to propose changes in ProcessDiagramGenerator. Changes should extend capabilities for process monitoring.
Currently ProcessDiagramGenerator can generate diagram with highlighted nodes. ProcessDiagramGenerator could be changed to be more configurable.
e.g. there can be layers put on the top of process diagram (to highlight nodes, to display additional information about process status…..)

What is the best way to do that? Should I establish new project on codehaus?

We're moving to Github this friday. So the easiest is probably to wait until then, fork the project and send a pull request with your proposals.
