Hi all,

I already checked the search, but couldn't manage to find the right solution.
I have installed alfresco into my user folder everything went well so far. But
now, when I'm trying to start it, this error occures:

Neither the JAVA_HOME nor the JRE_HOME environment variable is defined
At least one of these environment variable is needed to run this program
waiting for log to be created…
waiting for log to be created…
waiting for log to be created…

So I tried to change the alfresco.sh script. But I can't manage to find out whre my JAVA_HOME is.

Can anybody help me?

I have installed the newest Java SKD from Apple.

Thanks for your help
Dan

This will help. http://developer.apple.com/mac/library/qa/qa2001/qa1170.html.

If it did install correctly it should be your path.

Ainga

Hi
the location of java is different for different os..as you have installed java so jdk and jre are also installed.
pls check your java folder…after that set your jre and jdk path …otherwise alfresco will not run..
