Problems with IE6 and cookies

For some reason IE6 does not want to allow alfresco to set cookies.  It keeps throwing the error -

"Could not find a privacy policy for http://alfresco.company.com:8080/alfresco/faces/jsp/login.jsp.  To view this site's privacy policy, contact the Web site directly.

I have told IE that the website is on the local intranet and have set the security settings wide open, and it seems as if IE does not believe me.

I currently use Firefox and have not had these issues, but one of my users brought it to my attention and unfortunately, they need to use IE for other reasons and they are not the type of user that can easily switch back and forth.

Thanks,
Jeffrey Bradley

You might be having the same issue we've been having if you are going through an authenticating proxy at some point and using NTLM authentication.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/313558

We're considering undoing the NTLM authentication and just going against Active Directory via LDAP.

Maybe someone can tell us how to disable NTLN login on the web client for all access.
