PROBLEMS WITH CHECKIN /CHECKOUT

Hi everybody!

I'm here again because I have problems when I try to do checkin a document which was modified obiously helped by checkout.
The mistake is generated in the moment when I want to upload a new version of modified document and appeared the next log:

Unable to check in Content Node due to system error:Non-unique path: found : /app:company_home/app:user_homes 0

I can not understand what's the meaning of this log, Please if someone will help me, i will be so grateful

I presume you are using the Web Interface?

What space were you in when you got this message?

Hi!

Thanks for your answer. Well, i'm using the web interface and  I have this kind of menssages in almost all my spaces. We are thinking that the origen of this problem probably was causes when we upgrade our version of alfresco 2.1to 2.9B,but this is only a hypotheses.

Today, we are testing with diferents users to verify if everybody was afected by this problem and only one user didn´t show this messages in the moment when checkin a document, we presume that it ocurre because that user conducted some changes into the spaces. Other behavior is that this messages is present when conducted changes into a old document while with a new document never ocurre it.

If you have some idea about how we can resolve this problem, we will be so gratefully.

I'm getting the same error:

Unable to check in Content Node due to system error:Non-unique path: found : /app:company_home/app:user_homes 0

I get this error if I try to delete the file:

Unable to delete File due to system error: Non-unique path: found : /app:company_home/app:user_homes 0

If I undo the checkout and then try try a strat update to the document I get this error:

Unable to update Content Node due to system error:Failed to set content property on stream closure: node: workspace://SpacesStore/5a697b1a-5151-4767-a572-4be2dd838462 property: {http://www.alfresco.org/model/content/1.0}content writer: ContentAccessor[ contentUrl=store://2011/3/5/7/34/2c651b46-faf3-4a9b-a887-9fc52b985b3b.bin, mimetype=application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.document, size=316865, encoding=UTF-8, locale=en_US]

Well I guess I'll answer this for my case. I was getting this error because the object owner was removed. If I take ownership of the object first then the error goes away.

Would be helpful to have a better error handler.

Could you raise a reproducible test case in JIRA please?
