problem with installing web quick start

Ive installed web quick, well assumably, ive following all instructions but when i go into my site and go into dashlets the web quick start dashlet isnt there. Im not sure if ive missed something but i keep reading through the wiki and guides but just not sure what i need to do, can anyone help me?

ive got alfresco community 4.0.d
ive installed openoffice and uploaded the awe.war and wcmqs.war and restarted ther server.
what else is there?

also make sure you have those AMPs applied which are mentioned in the steps for set up of WCM QS.
Also,are you getting any error on the logs?
Please post that as well.

Where do i find the logs? do you mean server logs? Also am i meant to deploy the AMPs or do they just need to be in the amp folder?

Well they should be in the AMP and ideally it should be applied already.
Even you can apply them again manually to make sure they are applied properly.
Also by Logs I meant server log.

i got it working, i found this website which gave me instructions on installing it manually
