Problem with Alfresco Web Editor

Have checked out the latest code from HEAD, but I'm having trouble deploying the alfresco web editor. I'm getting the following message after logging in …

A form could not be found, has an 'itemKind' and 'itemId' been provided?

Anyone had similar problems and found a solution?

Usually you need to change that node values to get the correct html files from any location from your repository..

I think you must have changed your alfresco account details i.e. maybe username and password…
check with the web.xml file of the sample customer application.  It will have a default  username and password like admin..
If you are having different account details, update them and check.

Hope this helps..

hi yogesh,
Can you pl. provide the details of the steps you took for getting it working?
Did you do any modifications to awe-config-custom.xml? If yes, what kind of configuration?
I am using Alfresco 3.3 community edition. I have deployed 'customer' web aplication. I am able to see the edit icons for the text that is marked with <awe:markContent…/> tag.
But, when I click on the edit icon, nothing happens. If I open the url of the edit icon in a new window, it shows Alfresco Web Editor login page and prompts for user name and pwd. Evenif I enter admin/admin, nothing works. The control comes back to the blank AWE login page.
Any suggestions on how this can be resolved? I have specific a custom form in <awe:markContent…/> tag. Are there any configurations required for custom forms?

I am facing the same problem.

I am using Alfresco web editor 3.4.d. I cant get the sample application "customer" working.

I have modified the web.xml to point to my alfresco server which is running on a different machine. The username password configured is admin/admin.
AWE is running on tomcat 6 and my alfresco version is 3.3g.

when I fire http://localhost:8080/customer,  I am able to see the html content pulled from the repository. but the interface keeps asking me for the username password. I tried all different combinations of username password but it still wouldnt work.

Anyone has any thoughts on this?

The problem I am having (in my project) is that, it is showing content but not the toolbars and when I checked with firebug, I see the container is set to display:none, not sure what the problem is. The code is:
<span id="alf_1322746458695-1" class="alfresco-content-marker" style="display: none">
