Problem in replacing HSQL by MySQL

Hi!

We are having problem during changing HSQL database to MySQL.Firstly our db_setup.bat did not run. After that we uninstalled both alfresco and mysql and installed these again.But after reinstalling mysql it could not be configured and giving error message as service can not start Error 0.Also replacing HSQL by MySQL could not be done.Please help.

Hi,

If you are having problems with MySQL you can look here:
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/index.html

Once MySQL is running, you can run the commands in 'db_setup.sql' manually to create the alfresco tablespace and user.
