Problem in authentication with admin-admin credentials

Hi..
When i setup the project and try to execute an example given with client in the repository using the repository services, it says bad credentials and sometimes it works….can you suggest me any reason and solution for that….another same kind of problem i face while deploying the application and starting of the tomcat server…like Bootstrap failed….More than one root node in index: 2…..

has anyone else faced the same issue during the initial stages ? i am unable to replicate it …

Hi,

not sure but this makes me think of some alf_data configuration problem.
Check if you specified a full path to your alf_data folder in repository.properties used by tomcat and other sample applications, otherwise each will creates its own :

#dir.root=./alf_data
dir.root=D:/alfresco/alf_data
