Prevent files and folders to appear in search

As the subject says i need to know if there is a way of saying that the file A or folder X will not appear in search, in Alfresco Share.

Permissions would be the simplest way of achieving this.

Do you mean i need to create a rule ? If so, which action sould i select?

Well, how you decide when to apply the restricted permissions is a different question  :wink:

Depending on your business logic for that decision, you'd probably need a script to run on content creation. Check the documentation for help creating rules and scripts (there's a link in my signature below)

I looked in the link that you had specified and there i can't find which action should i use to accomplish this…
