Postgresql doesn`t start anymore

Hi,
First I was not able to shut down postgresql by the script alfresco.sh restart anymore.
Then I stopped successfully postgresql manually by pg_ctl stop -m i (first I tried pg_ctl stop -m f , but this didn`t help)
But in the postgresql.log I got:
I also checked via ps -ef that no processing regarding postgresql are running anymore.
And as I wanted to start the DB again I doesn`t work and I got:
and in postgresql.log:

FATAL: the database system is shutting down
I also checked via ps -ef that no processing regarding postgresql are running anymore.
And as I wanted to start the DB again I doesn`t work and I got:
pg_ctl.bin: could not start serverExamine the log output./home/otca/alfresco-5.0.d/postgresql/scripts/ctl.sh : postgresql could not be started
and in postgresql.log:
FATAL: could not fsync file "base/1": Invalid argument

did you try a database restore backup?
Maybe a corrupt db?
