As long as Alfresco is made up based on portlets, I wonder if it is possible to deploy this portlet in any portlet containner portal, no only the portal provided by the alfresco team. As long as I know, the only portlet you can deploy, embed the alfresco interface in your portal.
Any of you have some clues?

The alfresco interdace now has the concept of dashlets not portlets. Similar idea different technology per se.
There are two JSR-168/283 "alfresco portlets" available that one is the webclient application in total. The other is a reverse proxy portlet. I think that portlet is currently bundled with liferay – i am not sure if it will work in jboss.

I'm trying to decide between Liferay and JBoss Portal. As Alfresco integration is important I wonder if you whether the portlet bundled with Liferay works in JBoss.
