Poor Performance in In place Bulk Import tool

Hi

I'm using In place Bulk import tool in Alfresco enterprise 4.2.0.

I'm importing 2000 PDFs along with its metadata files.

It took around 20 minutes to import.

My current configuration is as follows:

Alfresco enterprise 4.2.0

I'm using solr indexing.
And I've set the following properties also

system.usages.enabled=false
system.enableTimestampPropagation=false

I've set batch size 1000 and number of threads as 4.


Is there any way to improve the performance?
Or I miss anything?

Your JVM settings also impact the performance.Try after tuning your JVM.
Size of pdf's also does matter.
