Plug Activiti to Alfresco

Hello everybody,

I'm looking for a way to connect Activiti as a standalone to Alfresco.
I would like to be able to design my workflows in Activiti, execute them in activiti and be able to communicate with alfresco (create, update, delete documents for exemple) during a workflow.
So my question is : Is there a existing connector that allow that?

I have the same question for Sharepoint but i'm pretty sure that that does not existe.

Thanks a lot for the answers,

Best Regards,

Ferdinand

No existing connector, but using openCMIS this is really easy: use the openCMIS api in a Java delegate.

Same applies for share point (they support CMIS to a certain level)

Thank you for the answer.
I read a lot about Alfresco and Activiti and it is really sad that managing content along with using Activiti is now only accessible from Alfresco's web app, and for 30 days only…

So is there any older version of Alfresco that supports Activiti plugging ?
Thank you in advance.

In fact, that's what i was looking for. https://www.youtube.com/embed/pQ9E1qOoIp8?autoplay=1&rel=0&wmode=transparent
Being able to grabe files from alfresco during a workflow or upload files to alfresco.
But this isn't available for activiti explorer?

I don't think so, Activiti explorer is not an CMS Smiley Sad
I wish there was an Alfresco Activiti community edition…

I found this article which looks very promising:

I haven't done this tutorial yet so I hope it still works with the current versions of Activiti and Alfresco, but I think it's worth sharing since it is more specific than the user guide.

Regards.

Indeed REST API or CMIS, in any case there a lot of work needed to achieve that Smiley Very Happy
