person form control

Hi everybody,

I configured my advanced search form in order to search the property cm:creator. When searching this property the user have to put the technical username in the input field. Now I'm looking for a form control picking a person (first name, last name) from a list. The control should push the technical username into the input field of the search form. Unfortunately the existing form control "authority.ftl" works only with associated persons. Did anybody had this requirement and found a solution and likes to share?
