Hello,
i've got an alfresco 2.1 installed in production enviroment. The problem is the slow performance of Alfresco.
Alfresco's database is oracle and its alf_data amount 3gb of items.
I'm using alfresco also in Wcm mode.
In some time , also if i trying to navigate within the spaces i spend a great time before to access.
The machine where alfresco run is a RedHat server .
This is start-up script of alfresco :

Every time i execute a top command i catch a lot of alfresco process with 2gb of memory size allocated.
Could i improve performarce via eh-cache ? If yes, how could modify eh-cache file ?
Is there any other configuration that i can modify ?

Is the database being regularly maintained (at the very least, is "update statistics" run regularly against the Alfresco schema)?
