Performance, Performance Performance!

We need a performance section to the Wiki.

There are several things that I've seen around the forums regarding performance.  We need this information consolidated.  Questions:

1) Why is EE performing better than RC?
2) Can you make those performance improvements public please?  Making RC slower just prevents Alfresco adoption.
3) Can we get a consolidated section for performance that gathers all the knowledge of the community into one place and can we have significant input from the Alfresco team on that Wiki page?

Feel free to create the page! The wiki is open.

All code from the Enterprise release is eventually merged to HEAD - and right now ALL code that was released as 2.1E is now in HEAD! Some additional performance improvements have gone into HEAD since 2.1E - they are there first for additional testing - if you take a nightly build now, it is QUICKER than the EE version - so i don't think you can complain about that…!

I am new to WIKI contribution and I wanted to create a page but didn't see a link or a way to do it.  I only saw how to modify pages that already exist (and I have modified a little)
