Per-User licensing

I was wondering if you could clarify how the per-user licensing works and how it is enforced?

Is the license per user account or per accessing individual?

For example, if we have ten individuals would we have to pay for ten user licenses, or could we nominate, say, two individual accounts and one shared for the other users and bring our user license cost down to three?

Thanks,
-Dave

The per-user license is per accessing person/individual. It's not "enforced", in the same way that your company purchasing the correct number of Office or Windows licenses is not "enforced" or you paying for music you download etc.

So yes if you have 10 individuals using the system you should have 10 user licenses. Obviously if you have a lot of users, you may be better off going for the per-server license.

We have tried to make the licensing as simple as possible, you can either count People or count physical CPUs - that's it.

Hope this helps,

Kevin
