When a pdf document vs 1.5 is uploaded in a share site, it cause a jvm crash. after diagnose there is an error in PDFParseException com.sun.pdfview.PDFParseException: Expected 'xref' at start of table, the pdf 1.5 format is not supported by PDFRenderer-2009-07-27.jar wich is packaged with 3.3, 3.4 and 4.0 version.
If we remplace this jar with latest version from http://java.net/projects/pdf-renderer (the 0-9 version), thumnails and preview are generated and the jvm don't crash.
Tested with 3.4e labs, and 4.0 labs version. there is no sideboard effects…
