When I dug deeper, I realized this fix was actually for the enterprise version (hot fix/patch). I was confident, that however, this fix would have tricked down to the latest version of the community edition. But unfortunately, that wasn't the case.
The same bug remains in the latest version of the community version as well (4.2c).
This being the case, is there any way , I can manually patch up the install I have here?
Hi, I think you can't access that resource because it may be internal to Alfresco, especially if this is related to Enterprise Edition… You can always take a look for the latest nightly build of Alfresco community 4.2.d and check if whether this issue has been resolved or not. Set this link http://svn.alfresco.com/repos/alfresco-open-mirror/alfresco/HEAD in your favourite svn browser and harvest among the revisions. Also here http://dev.alfresco.com/downloads/nightly/dist/ you can find the latest 4.2.d community nightly build. All the best for your search!
