password policy in alfresco

Does alfresco provide any password policy kind of rule?

No.    Password policies should be enforced in your authentication system not Alfresco.

ok.. that means if i am integrating with active directory or any external authentication system then I can enforce the password policy, and external authentication is not supported in multitenant environment,which means i can't really have the password policy in a mutitenant environment or is there any way to have it in multi-tenant environment,i am curious.
