I using Alfresco 2.1 with mysql and I wonder what happends with the files that are overwritten? When you delete files they are in "trash can" but if you overwrite files that has been changed, how can you restore the old copy?

Overwritten files will be lost - much the same as they would be in Windows/Mac OS.
