OutOfMemoryException

Hi…
I am new to alfresco..can u give me a suggestion regarding in this below problem…
i compiled my alfresco source code which is imported into eclipse..i was starting my server it giving a below exception..

java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space
Exception in thread "Thread-4" java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space
Exception in thread "AlfrescoJbpmJobExecutor:192.168.1.4:1" java.lang.OutOfMemory
Error: PermGen space

Could u please help me in getting the solution..
