other GUI?

Hi,

I'm new to alfresco. I'm currently working in a firm who wants to implement it. However, our personnel isn't quite …. lets say comfortable :wink:        working with the webclient interface. Is there a way to create a more simpler interface ? if so … can I pimp it ?

I've tried a little with the webdav interface but it gives errors during uploading and doesn't give me te possibilty to edit files.

I've also tried creating some custom views but then it would have to be aplied to every file and doc….

- Extra education on how to use it isn't an option here

Have you looked on the Forge?

We have a PHP library on there that will allow you to create a PHP based interface onto Alfresco functionality.

Also, you can get the latest PHP library work if you check out the code from SVN.
