OS locale instead of browser's locale

Hi,

We're using a kind of advanced search dashlet in Share and almost all the content is in spanish and, obviously, content and metadata searches are made in same language. I know that browser's locale can affect results. Is there any way that Share take OS locale instead of browser's locale?

I'm not sure browsers send the OS locale in the request header, do they? In which case it wouldn't be possible anyway.

When we try to look for fields like title, description or content (those three are the scope of our search) and values we typed are in spanish but browser's locale is en-US, no results are returned even if there are documents with those values. But if the locale is es-MX we get the right results.

you can set MLAnalysisMode.ALL_LANGUAGES_AND_ALL via org.alfresco.service.cmr.search.SearchParameters.setMlAnalaysisMode() & execute your search via searchService.query(SearchParameters)
