Hi,
while I'm testing Alfresco 1.4RC1, I encounter an error trying to transform MS-Word -> PDF. Cause seems to be:
net.sf.jooreports.openoffice.connection.OpenOfficeException: conversion failed; com.sun.star.lang.IllegalArgumentException: URL seems to be an unsupported one.
Can I help to track down this one further?
Regards,
Lieven
This is my environment:
debian linux - AMD64
jdk 1.5.0_08 (64bit)
mysql 5.0.24a (64bit)
OpenOffice.org 2.0.4-rc3 (64 bit in Ubuntu Edgy chroot)
this is my catalina.out:

hmmmm…. seems like I answered my question myself!
net.sf.jooreports.openoffice.connection.OpenOfficeException: conversion failed; com.sun.star.lang.IllegalArgumentException: URL seems to be an unsupported one.
OpenOffice.org 2.0.4-rc3 (64 bit in Ubuntu Edgy chroot)
-> the path given by alfresco to openoffice didn't exist to openoffice (because of the chroot)
I solved this by doing a bind mount of /opt/alfresco on <chroot>/opt/alfresco.

Lieven

Maybe this is because you are using a remote open ofice and are using net.sf.jooreports.openoffice.converter.OpenOfficeDocumentConverter instead of net.sf.jooreports.openoffice.converter.StreamOpenOfficeDocumentConverter.
