Offline editing(versioning) behaviour

Hi All ,

We are heavily using alfresco for offline editing documents .

I have set editor permission on that folder , so user can perform only offline edit operation on document uploaded by other user .  But with this configuration we are facing issues :

Once the document is locked , no one can see the Version History
            for.e.g.  on ABC document , 10 user have already worked,(Version History is available on document details page with who has worked with which version , when user has worked and so on but this is only when document is not locked by anyone) and now 11th user want to work on that document , that's why user locks document  after that user cant  Version History on document details page(user can see only : 0.1 ABC (Arbeitskopie).xls in Version History )

I would like to know, weather this is the behavior of alfresco while working with offline editing ?

Environment Details :
Alfresco 4.0.c running on Ubuntu 10.04 with MySQL

Hi

below is the behaviuor of Alfresco,

When we user clicks on edit offline, the others users are able to see the version history on the locked document.
But where as the version history on the working copy can not be have the version history as the wotrking copy, it would have only 0.1 as version history.

This the Behaviour of Alfresco with Versioning.

So you mean , when somebody locks the document for offline editing , we/all user can see only  0.1 as version history.

For the working copy document the version will 0.1 and for the locked document can see the version history.
