Office Addin and Vista

I'm trying to install the Office Addin under Vista but ket getting this error message:

the installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. the error code is 2869

As suggested by people that ran into this same error, I executed the installer as an administrator to no avail. I also made sure I had the required .NET libraries.

Any suggestions?

Hi Everyone,

I have a similar problem to this one. I've successfully installed the office addin to MS Office 2010 using an administrator account. The problem is, I'm unable to use the addin unless I run Word as that same administrator. I've tried to add the addin manually to Word through the "COM addins" dialog, but the system returns a message saying that it's not a "valid Office addin". Any thoughts?

Actually fixed this one myself by creating registry entries for the non-admin users that didn't have them.
