Not reading alfresco-global.properties file

Hi All,

I'm trying to install Alfresco into an exiting tomcat installation.  I have created the directory "shared/classes" underneath my tomcat directory (the shared directory being at the same level as the webapps directory) and created a file called alfresco-global.properties within this directory.

I am using tomcat 1.6 and java 1.4.2 with Alfresco 3.4.d community edition.

Following the instructions for installing from a war file,I have copied the alfresco war file to the webapps directory, installed mysql and created the alfresco user, added the database and file store parameters to the global properties file and then tried to boot up tomcat.

I get the following in the log file which leads me to believe it hasn't picked up any of the properties from the global properties file.

I would be very grateful for any suggestions as I have now hit a brick wall.

I suspect you need to configure your shared loader.
