No editing for LDAP imported users?

Hi,

viewing the configuration of Alfresco Explorer, I noticed a behaviour that I can't understand.
My Alfresco (3.3g, upgraded from 3.2r2) is configured to synchronize users from LDAP-AP, and I see no errors in the logs.
I login as admin and look the Menage System User page: only few imported users (8/160) show the "Modify" and "Change password" buttons, almost every imported user has the "Delete" button only.

Which is the right behaviour?

Why I've got these two cases??

Many thanks

Luciano

You can't modify those attributes that have been imported via LDAP.  To change those you would have to change the values on the LDAP server first which will then re-sync with Alfresco.

You can change the properties of the users who have not been created via LDAP.

In earlier versions of Alfreso, my users were able to upload pictures to their profiles, the edit profile button always showed up.  I might be wrong but I those users who did so are still in my system with their modified profiles.  New users on the upgraded 3.3G system can no longer modify their profiles.
