NFS Mount - Some Files Missing

I am using both the FTP and the NFS mounts in my Alfresco installation.  I have found that a number of files do not show when doing a 'ls' against the Linux mount.  The files can be view using 'cat' or 'less', but are otherwise hidden.  Where this affects me is I am using 'rsync' to copy the files from the NFS mount into an Apache directory.  Since these files are effectively not there, they do not get copied.

Any suggestions?

I am curious - are you only using (mapping) the admin account?

I am having problems trying to use other accounts.  It seems like you need write permissions to read files via NFS.
