When you click on next page in content panel and then click on an item, the content panel refreshes and go back to page1. This should be fixed.

How can I make sure, that, when someone click on an item in (for example) page 2, that the browse.jsp is still in page 2 of the content panel (and not go back to the first page)

We open our items in an extra inline reading panel.

No, there's no solution currently, as stated in the bug, this will be fixed in a future release so no work is in progress at the moment.
