Does I need to restart the server when I defined a new workflow, or is it possible without restarting?

Hi,

You need to first deploy the processdefinition.xml that you have created.

Bouncing of server was required in my case.

It depends.  The process definition file (jPDL XML) can be re-deployed without restart.  The associated task model & resource bundle, however, do require restart.

To deploy without restart, use the workflow console.

There's a deploy command.
