New palette item

Hi,

I've tried adding activiti palette customization as per the user guide (ACME-money examle), but I'm unable to see new palette item.

Steps I've done :
1. changed pom.xml as suggested in user guide
2. done mvn clean install and copied the jar to other location.
3. added the jar to activiti designer.

Error Message :

"There was an error when processing an extension to activiti designer. The extension at location …….. is not open. Please make sure it is not installed inside the eclipse workspace "

Where did I go wrong ?

What does "added the JAR to the Activiti Designer" mean?

Finally I've the Palette customization working with the help of money-task example.

How can I make this work in modeler too ?
I mean how can I customize the activiti-modeler palette list.

You can't share the extension Jar between Designer and Modeler. You'll have to recreate the functtionality for Modeler.

I didn't understand what exactly you mean by "recreating the functionality" ?
Could you please elaborate in detail ?

Does any blog ,forum or documentation explains the Palette customization in Modeler ?
