Need step by step procedure for alfresco 4.2 e full backup

I am using :

1.Windows 7 64 bit
2.Alfresco 4.2 e, binary installation (checked everything except google docs and sharepoint )
3.Postgre server
4.My installation directory is " C:/Alfresco"
5.Moved the contentstore and content store deleted directory to network location (pointed this location in global property)
( Everything is default )

I am planning to move my alfresco installation to another machine. Need the step by step procedure



(Note: Previously I tried this

1. Stopped tomcat and postgre
2. Copied the entire C:/Alfresco directory
3. Installed Alfresco in new machine
4. Didnt start after installation
5. Replaced the new ALfresco directory with the old directory
6. Started alfresco
7. My content store and content store deleted path is not found so I got a blank page with no folders in repository )

Please read the documentation on backup and restore.  and then ask questions.  

Also remember to post details like errors in the logs.
