Need Info for Activiti Explorer UI Changes

Hi Experts,

We need to make some UI and functionality changes into activiti-explorer.
For example we need to make below chnage:

generally activity names comes into left menu for each task, we want to add some more task realted information from process variables.

So kindly provide some pointers how we can achieve that.

Any documentations or simple stepping would be really helpful.
