I have installed Alfresco Labs 3 and now testing Ms word office. There is a sharepoint feature in this version, right? However, my simple question is "Do I have to install "alfresco-labs-word2003-addin-3c.zip"?" or i just use sharepoint so confuseddddd….
For me, doing this seems to present exactly the same functionality as a Webdav server. The Sharepoint stuff on the right of Word 2003 doesn't appear to work.
I've noticed that in some of the bugs they refer to "http://alfresco:8080:/spp" as the reference address. Going to this address gives me a different server name "Alfresco VTI Server" and I can view the top level directory of the site. When I try to go any further however, it tries to re-authenticate and give me an error saying "The folder http://alfresco:8080/spp/sites/is no longer available".
If anyone has any ideas on how to get the Sharepoint stuff working I'd be most grateful. This is effectively the decider on whether we go with Sharepoint or Alfresco. I'm testing with Labc 3C.
