Hello.
Alfresco help does provide the following instructions:
"Multiple words
    You can narrow your results further by using two or more search terms. For example, to find William and Shakespeare, type William Shakespeare in the search box."

Unfortunately, this does not seem to work this way with Alfresco 3.0
If I type William Shakespeare, I get all documents containing at least one of those words, and not only those containing both words.
So, is there a bug with this specific version or is the provided help wrong?

Same question here!!!  I try to search with the + operator and the search always answers OR and what i want is AND
for example i want to find every document tha have the words dentist AND phone; I type in search box : dentist +phone    ; and what i get is every document that have the word dentist OR phone
Any Help?

Seems the solution is to use + sign in front of each word.
Type "+William +Shakespeare" in the search box and you will get all documents containing both William and Shakespeare.
