Multi Level workflow

HI,

I have one requirement of multi level workflow in Alfresco.
I am using version 4.2c.
A company having different departments sales, marketing, hr, development.
I want to implement one multi level workflow using alfresco.
Can any one guide me  how to proceed on this??
