MT - effect on hardware requirements?

I'm very pleased to see the MT feature 😎

And I'm curious about its performance impact. .. The page http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Repository_Hardware gives guidance on  JVM Memory and CPU Hardware for various user numbers - 1000 casual users for example.

I'm wondering how an MT configuration might affect things.  For example:

- Would the performance of 1000 casual users in a non-MT environment be roughly the same as configuring 1 tenant with 1000 casual users?

- How might we expect 200 tenants with only 5 casual users each to perform?

Gauging the 'performance impact' would obviously require benchmarking and sizing … but overall I would expect it to be roughly similar.
