I use VirtualBox and I've installed a virtual machine (Suse Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP1 X64).
On the Linux server I installed "alfresco-enterprise-installer-3.4.0-linux-x64.bin".
I just want to use Alfresco Document Management System (explorer and share) and so I've selected these installoptions:
- SharePoint - Records Management - Web Quick Start - Web Project Management (AVM) - Quickr Connector Support + OpenOffice
I also have imported the user profiles from the Windows Active Directory into Alfresco Explorer (Share).
Different users use Alfresco Explorer to manage (upload, edit, delete, etc.) the documents (MS Office, Open Office, PDF etc.) . The client computers are equipped with Windows 7 x64.
Now I want to integrate MS Office (and OpenOffice) into the Alfresco system, as promised on the Alfresco website. http://www.alfresco.com/products/document-management/ -> "Alfresco looks just like SharePoint to Microsoft Office, allowing users to upload, check-in, check-out and modify content right from Office"
Clients:
Windows 7 X64 Firefox 4.0 Beta / Google Chrome 9.0 MS Office 2007 Open Office 3.2 JDK 1.6 / JRE 6
Server:
Suse Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP1 X64 Alfresco 3.4.0 (with Java, MySQL, Tomcat, OpenOffice 3.2)
I have read Alfresco Wiki, but I find no solution for my case (Serve Linux, Client Windows).
I imported the users by using NTLMv1, passthru and ldap-ad from the Windows Directory in Alfresco.
And I have installed also SharePoint module (As Mike has advised me).
As a client computer I have Windows XP and Windows 7 (x64).
With Windows XP everything works really well: MS Office integration, too. (by using with http://myserver:7070/alfresco)
The problem is with Windows 7 and the NTLMv2 authentication. In alfresco.log file is following message

My question is: NTLMv2 is a general problem? and what can be done that user authentication in Windows 7 succeed?
