Moving Data and Settings from 3.2r to 3.3

Hi All,

i would like to now if its possible to move the data and settings (i mean spaces and documents) from alfresco 3.2r to 3.3.
The point is that my alfresco 3.2r (on windows XP) is not loading because it can connect to MySql DB (i have tried to fix it but i couldn't), and as this is a very useful solution for my client and a lot of people are using it. i decide to install  the version 3.3 on Ubuntu 10.04. Server
Witch is working smoothly. so i would like to move the data and the configuration from the old (not working) 3.2r to the new 3.3.

You haven't been posting enough detail to enable us to help you.   Equally the few details you are posting are not "alfresco" problems. 

Have you become familiar with backing up and restoring a test environment?  Can you move alfresco from one test box to another?

At some point you had a working alfresco instance of 3.3. You did something and now the database does not seem to start. 

When you say "move" the database what exactly did you do?   Is the database actually running and has it got your data in it?
