Hi,
I'm using Alfresco Share 5.0.c and I'm having the following problem:
1. I created a site with a documentation tree.
2. I removed all inheritance of permissions to the spaces and applied permissions according to my workflow.
3. I assigned simple workflows to some spaces, to move the content from one space to another when approved

This is working just fine as long as I'm working with an open site and don't invite the users as site members
When I changed the site to private and assigned user roles I have the problem, that the user has to be assigned a manager role to be able to move content which he didn't create. But I don't want all users to be site manager for multiple reasons.

My question is: is it possible to move content from one space to another when being a site member but not as manager.

Hi,
If you want to move the file from location to another location based on the approval process, use the script task, to move the file.
The script task should under "Run As - system", so this will not the current user permissions and will move the using system context.

Please find the attached for your reference.
