Hello all,
I would like to know if it is possible to modify the built-in Advanced Task List to have additional columns and /or drop a column? Usually, it is not a recommended practice, so can we build a new list with the functionality of an advanced task list but with different columns?
If there is data in an existing Task List; is it possible to (easily) copy it into a custom list or would one have to recreate the information manually in the new list?
Any suggestions on how to proceed will be greatly appreciated. I am using share 4.0.d community if it matters.
Thank you very much for your time.

Hello all
It seems a datalist is a custom model that be extended and customized just like any other model. This excellent post provides all the details:
https://forums.alfresco.com/en/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=41069
Sorry; I should have spent more time before posting here; but there was nothing which clearly explained customizing data-lists.
Anyway, I did find my answer in the same forum; so thank you very much for the same.
Thanks again
