iPhone support is wonderful, but our business uses Blackberries. There are mobile blogging apps for Blackberry like Bloglive that hook into xmlrpc and blogging APIs like Metaweblog, Blogger, Movable Type, etc.

Isn't the Metaweblog API used in Alfresco? Has anyone hooked in an external blogging client using this or another xmlrpc solution?

It is much cooler to have iPhone apps than Baclkberry ones. Smiley Happy

Alfresco uses the Metaweblog API to publish content to remote blogs. However, this is not available in Alfresco.

The easiest way to integrate Blackberry blogging for Alfresco is to send an email to an Alfresco space and then have a custom javascript rule to copy the email text to blog space as blog posts and publish them.

Well, I tried to post a reply yesterday but was unable to (something going on with our domain).

Thanks, zaizi, for your reply. Yes, iPhones are cooler…but our business standardized on Blackberry. The email option will potentially work so I will look into that further.
