Metadata from PostgreSQL database

Hello,

first I want to say that I am new to alfresco. Hopefully someone can give me a starting point/code examples or something like this for the following problem:

I would like to create a custom metadata model that gets the data from PostgreSQL tables/views. Although I have to be able to fill some information directly in Alfresco Share into this PostgreSQL tables/views.

Maybe someone has experience with it.
