Hi,
Is there a way to manually unlock a file remained accidentally locked by a dead webdav session ? I would expect that a Coordinator, Admin or Owner being able to do this by the web gui.
I can follow the unlock permission in permissionDefinitions.xml but sorry if dumb and cannot find a gui action for this.
Thanks,
Sergiu

I am running 1.3(SVN). I know as admin you can view the document details of the locked document and you will see the unlock action on the right hand side (in the actions module).
Have not tested this to see if the user can do this too…

Hello,
Unlock is present in 1.3 - if you view the locked documents details there will be an 'Unlock' action present.

We are running Alfresco 1.2 for now.
The 1.3 release will be more than welcome since key features are still not present in version 1.2 (manual unlock, change password by users).
My opinion is that Alfresco is a great, niche product.
Thank you,
Sergiu
