Making tasks create and wait for another task to complete.

I know I can create other tasks from inside the jBPM using Alfresco Javascript, but now I would like to know if it would be possible to link the outcome of this task as sort of a prerequisite before allowing the parent process to continue.

I'll take any hint, I'm just not sure whether I will be able to do it without adding custom classes and would avoid them where I can.

Can you describe your use-case?  I don't understand what you're trying to achieve.
